Reducing the costs of using shavings

Racing Partners in Tuerong, Victoria, needed a quick solution to reduce the costs of shavings.

 

The horses were on a concrete base that was very cold and damp and they were having to fill each stable with at least 200mm of shavings to reduce this problem.

The solution was having SureCushion mats laid and glued together, reducing not only the cost of shavings, but a dramatic fall in labour costs to muck out.

The SureCushion mats come in 2 sizes of 1830mm x 1220mm and now 2000mm x 1000mm, both at 25mm thick on rubber feet allowing for airflow and plenty of comfort underneath.

They weigh up to 45kg so there is little chance of them lifting.
